About the FREE sessions I am offering - it does not have to be a whole FAMILY. If you want your child or children photographed, that is fine - even better! I have a couple spots left and will call the people who have emailed me!

How cool!

I just added a new counter to my blog and website and can see who is looking at my work - I found hits from Saudi Arabia, UK, India and Germany! WOW! That is really cool. Those hits came from www.compleatmother.com where I had a magazine cover. This just made my day. :-)

I am bored....

This is typically a slow time for photographers and I am feeling a little bored. SO, I am offering to do 5 FREE sessions to anyone who has not been photographed by me before! I will take the first 5 families to email me at lisa@lisasimages.com. Maximum of 5 family members in studio please. There is no catch and no minimum purchase.

These sessions will be done in February and will last about 30 min. It will also give me a chance to have some fun and play with some new lenses and promo ideas. Your session previews will be ready about two weeks after your session. You will also be getting in right before my price increase!

New heading??

So, does anyone want to make me a nifty (Mark's word, not mine lol) little blog header? I can get to it eventually, but it sure would be nice to have one now!

My new website is officially done!! I am going to update the pricing page in a day or so and then I will send out a formal announcement....I think it deserves a formal announcement. Eventually, my website will have a custom song just for me...AHEM, JOEY!!

We've all been sick around here so some things are falling behind. I think we are finally on the mend...well, those of us who had it first...now it is hitting the others. My cough is still hanging around, though, and it sounds horrible. We've been taking homeopathy and it is definitely helping. I swear by it!

My Christmas Card

I sent out two different Christmas cards for '07 so I thought I'd share both of them here. The blue/brown square card is a trifold with six sides, but I'm showing just 5 since the last one has no photo. They were really nice cards and everyone seemed to love them. The other card is a 5x7 printed on linen and is just gorgeous!

Surprise!

Over the holidays I had several people surprise their spouse with a portrait from me. It was so much fun! One couple surprised each other - it was pretty funny too. The husband called to order some jewelry for his wife and she kept trying to find out from me if he had called - it was really cute. She ordered a storyboard for her husband of their tiny baby girl and he had no idea. It was fun!

Then I had a dad bring in his twin sons. I've photographed them before and they are just as cute as can be. Dad even went shopping to buy 2 adorable outfits for the boys! He was very excited about the portraits for his wife. So was I! Oh, and the dad hasn't seen the image of him dressing one of the boys. I know he checks my blog so I thought I'd surprise him. :-)

An older session

Here is one I forgot I had sitting in my blog folder. I saw them over Christmas - she is so tiny and sweet! Mom is so tiny and sweet as well! It's fun to watch new moms lose their baby weight. :-)

Happy Birthday!

I've been photographing this cutie since she was born. She really dove into her cake - it was really funny! Soon she will be a big sister and I look forward to photographing the new baby!

to share them since she is mine. :-) Yeah, I went a little overboard, but she loves to perform. This child was born to act or model!

Sisters

When this session was booked I was really excited because I completely adore their parents! They truly are the nicest people...and so are their girls. What a fun session this was.

this family?? I get compliments on their last session alllll the time. They are so in love with their little girl and it really shows. Mom should be a model!

Some holiday sessions

This family won a gift certificate from me. They are just the cutest family. They are friends with my kids and their mom teaches my daughter. Needless to say, I was thrilled when they came in!

Girls' Night Out!

I think it would be really fun to have a Girls' night. I want to find a bunch of really cool vendors - people with home-based businesses to join me. Do you know anyone? I'm looking for some different stuff so let me know! I'll either do it at my home or find someplace bigger to host it.
